The Washington State Open is the Pacific Northwest’s flagship tennis event. Now in its landmark 131st Tournament, it is the largest tennis tournament in Washington state with over 650 competitors from all over the country vying for the top spot.
The Washington State Open takes place at the iconic Seattle Tennis Club, its home since its inception. Seattle Tennis Club sits on roughly eight acres on the pristine shores of Lake Washington and offers 19 tennis courts (including six indoor and three clay courts), a gymnasium, fitness center, massage room, squash courts, locker rooms, dining rooms, event spaces, a pool, private beach access, a boathouse, and a Tennis Pro Shop.
In 1950, what was already a thrilling week of tennis forever changed when Seafair joined the Seattle event landscape. The Washington State Open takes place simultaneously with Seafair Weekend, offering unparalleled views of the Boeing Seafair Air Show from our lakefront location.
Viewing tennis at the Washington State Open is open to the public and we encourage the community to come celebrate the sport. As a sponsor of the Washington State Open, you can reach over 6,000 Seattle Tennis Club Members, 650+ competitors, and over 4,000 spectators throughout the tournament.
